Huh, I must confess, I hadn't even considered the possibility that Tiffany had killed her own child to satisfy the blood right the goddess demanded. And, I dunno, that doesn't "feel" right to me. For one thing, I picture her making the arrangements and going through the final ceremony while she's still pregnant. For another, while infants were sometimes exposed to the elements and allowed to die if they weren't the "preferred" gender in Greek culture, I can't see them sanctioning out and out murder. Had Tiffany done that, I sorta picture Lady Adrestia scratching her head and saying, "Well yeah, he got you pregnant, but you sorta took care of that inconvenience right now, didn't you?" Far more likely that her victim was an enemy she had at school, or perhaps just someone she knows Romeo also "liked."
