LJ Idol Sacrifice

Hello all.

Unfortunately, this is my sacrifice entry for week 13 of LJ Idol. Work has been very busy lately, and I also started getting sick over the weekend. Call me a wimp, but given a choice in-between writing and sleeping right now, I'm going to pick sleeping. LOL

The sickness wasn't anything too horrible, just allergies and back pain. Separately I probably could've hung in there, but both at once was a B*******tch! LOL

Ugh no I absolutely get it. I have so many allergies and they're a pain enough on their own, but when something else is mixed with them it's a lot and all I want to do is sleep too! 😴

But sad that you're leaving us. I've enjoyed your stories this season, and I've enjoyed your comments and participation too! All of that is what makes Idol fun, and I hate to see that end.

You're right, it was--of course, still is for you--a very cool season. I'll still be around commenting, so there's that anyway. :)

Thank you so much! The real credit goes to halfshellvenus for reminding me of the sacrifice option in my allergy haze. LOL Fortunately, I had time to scribble an entry and get my post switched over before the deadline.

I loved your poetry and your KFP entries! So often, poetry is just an unfathomable grouping of words for me, but yours always painted beautiful pictures and communicated concepts that resonated with me. With KFP, I missed so much of the in-between, but it was exciting to see what an extraordinary young man he's become.

With any luck, we'll both be able to share writing entries through Idol again in the future.
