I love a good alternate timeline story, so when the hotel suddenly appear around Ben, I gave a little chair. But oof! if your first story in this universe plunged the knife, this one twists it cleverly, if painfully. As bad as the outcome is, maybe this is the outcome Ben might have chosen after living through the first outcome.
