Since all of the computers the state sold had the hardware and software pre-installed ahead of time, installation was actually pretty straight forward. The hard part, as you said, was doing it all in a strange location. Often times my biggest challenge was finding a big enough and clean enough area to set it all up on.

LOL Yeah, I suspect your foreign student probably misunderstood something in the college's course description. So much can get lost in translation, even in the best of times.

I agree, Houston has got to be one of the worst cities out there for weird weather. And of course, the worst part is, when you are stranded, you're stranded in Houston. LOL
