Interesting! Sounds remarkably difficult to me, what with the traveling and then having to hook up a computer in some strange place. And THEN still having to do the training.
(I can totally understand needing help setting up a computer, though. I could frequently use someone flying in from anywhere to help me set things up!)
Your story about the guy who couldn't type reminds me of a fiction writing course I taught, for which I had a student sign up who couldn't write English and could barely read it. Guess he didn't understand what the word "fiction" meant and just thought it was a class in how to write, period.
I travel to Houston several times a year, as my elderly parents live there. In my experience, Houston has some of the weirdest weather in the world, much of which happens when I'm trying to get on or off a plane. I'm not at all surprised you circled for hours. I've probably logged more time over Houston than I have over anywhere else in the world.
